Bangkok, Thailand

Hotel: St. Regis Bangkok

If I ever feel like sitting on a plane 10+ to Thailand again I will try Phuket. Bangkok was ummm....interesting. This St. Regis is very dated and definitely in need of some TLC. I wanted Bonvoy points otherwise I would've stayed at different hotel. The room was way too small with big furniture everywhere. This was probably the most crowded room I've ever stayed in, and it was an upgrade. However, the staff was very friendly and food was really good. Check the weather before you go because the heavy downpours will prevent you from visiting the many rooftop restaurants. We did visit King Power Mahanakhon Sky Walk. It was truly an amazingly scary experience! There are a couple of really nice shopping malls nearby so I was able to snag a few Thailand exclusives. Overall, Bangkok felt like one big hustle with "massage" store fronts on every street. Like I said, interesting!
